Sheldon #3 size Smoothing Plane, Post 1933

Sheldon #3 size smoothing plane. Patten date 1914609, which was granted in 1933. in the 40's Sheldon went to a Stanley style frog/cap system. So this puts this plane from 1933 to before WWII I would think. This plane came from my user shelf, I never set it up to use, just cleaned it up and cleaned up the iron to take shavings and play with it to see if I like this style of frog/lever system.
I ended up not really liking it, so it's up for sale. It's been cleaned up some and still needs the iron fine tuned, but it will take shavings, but it could be better. Oh, there is age cracks on the top of the tote, see photos.
