#4 Stanley Bench Plane Cordovan Line Type 21 1968-81

Stanley #4 Bench Plane, Type 21 Cordovan Line 1968-81 and the last line to be made in the USA. The tote is cracked at the horn, the screw is bent keeping it from seating correctly and someone has put what looks like Plastic Coat on the tote. I would just replace the tote if it was me.
I have done nothing to this plane, it is how I got it. I bought out a large collection of planes recently and this is part of that bunch. Keep an eye on my listings as I will have about 50 planes that I will be listing over the next few weeks as well as some other items..

Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
