Worth #5 sized Jack Plane, Fixed Frog Good for a Scrub

Worth #5 sized Jack Plane. Not much info on Worth branded planes, this is the only one I have seen that has the fixed frog. Tote is broken also. I am not a fan of the fixed frogs, however I have gotten the Stanley Defiance planes to take good shavings in the past.

However to me this would make a great scrub plane and with that fixed frog you have less moving parts when you ram into a knot to knock out of adjustment. yeah I work with a lot of southern yellow pine!

I have a few scrub planes already, and I have a few others that I am going to convert, that way I have several sized scubs just like my other planes. So if this one does not sell, I may just convert to a scrub rather then the broken Craftsman I kept for a scrub.. But I would rather sell it, I have way to many planes already..

I have not done anything to this plane, it is how I got it. I bought a large collection of planes at once and this is part of the collection. I will have about 30 more to list over the next few weeks.
