16" long so I assume this is either a Jack or Fore plane. Has Butcher Iron, I can not see any markings on either end, but I did not clean it up to see. Plane is rough, the iron is mostly sharp and I have used this on and off as a scrub plane for the last year or so, I just do not like the handle and to lazy to make another one. I ended up with another wooden plane that is rough that I like the handle better that I will replace this one with. I mostly use a junk #7 for a scrub, but it's to big sometimes. I have a couple junk #3/4 that I also use as scrubs, but used this one as my #5/6 substitute scrub, I just don't like the handle.

Anyway, this plane is rough, see photos, but works fine as a scrub, I like the wooden planes for scrubs as the irons will pop up if you hit a knot hard enough rather then jamming your wrist with a sudden stop with an metal plane. But I am trying not to use to rough lumber, so I may get rid of most of my scrubs at some point. Anyway.... Need a scrub? like wooden planes? here you go....
