Up for sale is a super nice Stanley boxwood ruler. This one is the #78 1/2 . It is a fold out 24" ruler and has 3 brass hinges on it. This one is vary rare as it has the double brass archs. This ruler is in great shape with no warping, everything fits perfectly. This ruler has it's original patina and show a few dings and scratches as you would expect of a tool 125 years old.These were made aroung 1890. look at the picture for best description.     With over 76 years of life experience and a passion for woodworking, I’ve spent decades collecting, restoring, and working with antique hand tools, mostly hand planes . I'm an Army Vet. (1967-1969) and married with 2 children. I'm also a avid gardener. I have a degree in Forestry from S.I.U. although I only worked in the industry for 6 weeks. I'm retired from the coal mines and also the Post Office. I live in Southern Illinois near Carbondale. I love to hunt and fish. I live on 30 with a 9 acre strip mine lake in front of the house. My work shop includes a Delta Unisaw , a Grizzley 17" band saw and a DeWalt 735 planer. I have many hand planes including a very nice Stanley #2 type 7
