On offer here is a vintage (Circa 1840) wooden molding plane in hollow form (which renders a ‘round’ profile) and in good used condition - iron could use some sharpening. Please see photos for condition, dimensions and markings. Some background information gathered from American Wooden Planes by Pollack: Samuel S. Barry was a planemaker in New York City 1827-41, a hardware dealer with various partners between1841-47, and again a planemaker from 1848-50. RARITY RATING: * Uncommon Offered to USA Buyers only. Shipping to be by USPS Ground Advantage. Buyer pays shipping.
Multiple items purchased on the same day will be combined for savings on shipping costs whenever possible. TT is quite good at automatically figuring this for billing purposes, but should there be any overage collected for shipping by TT, this will then be refunded to the buyer as soon as determined.
