Vintage Restored MIBRO 10 Inch Bit Brace

This is a bit brace with a 10" throw by the West German tool company MIBRO. It's an open rachet design that works great with traditional tapered square shank bits such as augers, centre point, and spoon bits. It's in fantastic shape for a vintage tool, having been cleaned and oiled and put to use in recent history (the dog holes on the bench it's sitting on were bored with it). The rachet works smoothly in both directions and the head spins easily as well.

I'm just looking to pass it on to someone else as I have too many braces now and need to clear some out.
