Early Stanley Block plane, I think this is a 9 1/2 (see photos) Super Early, has A1 trademark stamp on iron (1872-74) Bailey's Trademark LOL As you can see in the photo's, the lever cap is broken, so this is for parts, but it also could be made into a user, how many times do you need to change the setting of the iron on a blocks plane? heck I never use a block plane!
From my "oh look that's old" box that I will never do anything with.. time to go..

Selling since November 2024
Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
