This is a RARE FIND. It is an Ulmia Reform Smoothing Plane. The body is from Pear Wood with a laminated sole to a harder wood. Iron and chip breaker.

The Ulmia reform plane changed the wooden plane design by replacing the wedge with a tensionable cap iron and adds an adjustable mouth.

Sharp and ready to work. Hammer adjusted.
