The Old Manse SIGNED Water Color by Ross Turner [Art 058]
An attached piece of paper to the back, reads: "Water color of Ross Turner's Etching of the Old Manse, one of the most interesting houses in America. This is the house in which Hawthorne lived immediately after his marriage, and in which he wrote "Mosses from an Ol Manse." Emerson had previously lived in the same house, and it was here that he wrote "Nature." The famous old place is regarded with much interest by thousand who visit Concord every year."
