It features a distinctive floral and vine etching, possibly in the "Floral Wreath" pattern by New Martinsville.
The plate has a scalloped, ruffled edge and sits on three small feet.
The silver overlay provides an elegant, antique appearance.
Similar items date back to the early 1900s, before New Martinsville was sold to Viking Glass in 1936.
