Stanley Plane Tall Hardwood Knob For No. 3, 4, 5-1/4, 10 Type 17 WWII-Era

A nice original vintage hardwood knob for a Stanley No. 3, 4, 5-1/4 smoothing plane - type 17 WWII-Era. It will also fit the No. 40 scrub planes which have the raised knob receivers on the plane body and the later style No. 10 rabbet plane. It was donated from a type 17 plane and is not rosewood. It has the tapered base that fits into the knob receiver/ring. There is some wear in the finish and some paint splatter. It comes with the type 17 hardware as well.
