Stanley Plane Iron 1-3/4" No's 3, 5-1/4, 603, 605-1/4, 20, 21, 22, 23, 113 "BB"

This is an original replacement Stanley plane iron. It is 1-3/4" wide, which works with hand plane No's 3, 5-1/4, 603, 605-1/4, 20, 21, 22, 23, 113. It has the "BB" trademark stamp and was salvaged from a type 16 No. 3 smoothing plane and has "141" stamped on it, indicating it was made between Jan and Mar of 1941. The face has been flattened and it has a new primary bevel using the extra course DMT diamond plates. It will need honed for use. The primary bevel is square to one side, but not to the other - meaning the sides are slightly out of parallel, which will not cause any issues in use.
