Stanley Defiance #5 size Jack Plane. I think this is an early type since it has an actual frog unlike the later ones that have a fixed frog. I think this can be tuned up to make a nice user plane. I thought about keeping it just because it's a #5 size that I rarely see, but I have to many planes as it is. Part of a collection that I bought that I wanted some stuff out of, the rest is just collecting more dust...

Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
