Up for sale is a nice Stanley #7 type 19 hand plane. This one has the smooth sole and it is flat. I stripped off the old Japanning and painted it using Ford high heat engine paint and baked it to set the paint. It has the BB logo on the iron and I have sharpened it going through the grits up to 8000. I believe it is almost full length. The tote and knob are in great shape . I have repaired a crack in the tote and it is solid . The knob is crack free and in great shape. There is a light scratch on the left cheek that at first glance looks like a crack, but it is just a superficial scratch.I have looked at it close with a magnifying glass and it doesn't go to the top of the cheek. This plane is a type 19 eventho it doesn't have the Stanley imprinted vertically on the lateral adj. lever. This is Satnley using up older parts on new model planes as you see a lot on Stanley planes. Message me with any questions or if you want more pictures. This is a nice ready to go to work jointer.
