Up for sale is a nice Stanley #6 type 16 hand plane. This one has the corrugated sole and it is flat. The Japanning was very spotty so I stripped it off and painted it with dupli-color # 1635 high heat engine paint. The iron has the BB logo and I have sharpened it going through the grits up to 8000. This is the last type with rosewood tote and knob. This is the first type with the ogee frog. The rosewood tote and knob look great . I have done a repair on the tote and it is strong and looks sharp. The knob is in great shape with no cracks. This plane is in super shape and ready to go to work in your shop.
