Up for sale is a super nice Stanley #6 type 13 hand plane. This one has the corrugated sole. The Japanning was pretty spotty on it so I stripped it off and re-Japanned it using Stanley's factory recipe and baked it 5 times and I think it looks great. I have flattened the sole and cleaned up the sides. I have also sharpened the iron going through the grits up to 8000. The iron has the BB logo, the one that came with it was used up. The rosewood Tote and knob show their original patina. The tote is as nice as I have ever seen. It doesn't have a mark on it. The knob has a small crack at the base that does not go up very far, maybe 1/2 an inch. Really nice 100 year old plane.
