Stanley #5 Plane Type 20 Corrugated Sole Great Wood Tuned Sharp

Up for sale is a super nice Stanley #5 type 20 hand plane. This one has the corrugated sole and it is flat. The finish on the bed was spotty looking so I cleaned it up and Painted it with Dupli-Color 1635 Black Engine paint. The tote and knob have also be refinish and look great. I have sharpened the iron going through the grits up to 8000 and it is razor sharp. This plane is ready to go to work in your shop.

With over 76 years of life experience and a passion for woodworking, I’ve spent decades collecting, restoring, and working with antique hand tools, mostly hand planes . I'm an Army Vet. (1967-1969) and married with 2 children. I'm also a avid gardener. I have a degree in Forestry from S.I.U. although I only worked in the industry for 6 weeks. I'm retired from the coal mines and also the Post Office. I live in Southern Illinois near Carbondale. I love to hunt and fish. I live on 30 with a 9 acre strip mine lake in front of the house. My work shop includes a Delta Unisaw , a Grizzley 17" band saw and a DeWalt 735 planer. I have many hand planes including a very nice Stanley #2 type 7
