Stanley #5 Jack Plane Type 19 - tuned and sharp

Stanley Bailey No 5 jack plane. Type 19 (1948-1961) Tuned, sharp and ready to work. Rosewood knob and tote are both solid no cracks or repairs. Knob has some dent marks on top. Lever cap has very good nickel with some small dings.Japanning on the body is very good overall with a few spots missing. The japanning on the frog has all pretty much been removed. But with the plane assembled you don't notice it.
See the pictures. There is a deep scratch at the side edge of the mouth which does not impact function. Back of the iron is polished and you can see the reflection of a bush in it. Happy to answer questions.

Long time hobby woodworker. Most of that has been as a power tool user but in the last several years I've taken up hand tools and love it. Also found that I really like putting old iron back into service.
