Up for sale is a nice Stanley #4 type 11 Hand Plane. It has the 3 patent dates behind the frog and the small brass adj. nut. This one has a smooth bottom and I have lapped it flat. The rosewood tote and knob show their original patina and are crack free. The Japanning was pretty spotty, so I stripped it off and re-Japanned it using Stanley's original factory recipe. This plane has a brand new Stanley Victory iron and I have sharpened the iron and it is ready to go to work. There is a very small chip out of the left rear side, look at the pictures for detail. Really nice 115 year old plane.
