Up for sale is a really nice Stanley #3 type 11 hand plane. This plane has the smooth sole and is has been lapped flat. It has the V logo on the iron and it is bold. I have sharpened the iron going through the grits up to 8000. I have re-Japanned the bed using Stanley's original factory recipe and baking it on low heat 5 times to set the Japanning. The rosewood tote and knob are original to the plane and show their great patina. The only issue with the plane is the tote has a repaired crack and it is a strong repair. Super nice little 120 year old smoother.
