Stanley #12 Scraper Plane. they where made up to about 1947, but other then that I am not sure what year/type this is. The early ones where more square on the base and may had patten dates on the knobs. The only markings I see is No 12 and a previous owners name in the handle, rosewood? no idea. The iron is a more modern replacement that was sharpened at an angle on one end (see photo) I bought this for myself to use, I have had it maybe 2 years or more and have never touched it, it's just sitting in my cabinet. Time for it to go to a new home.
I am selling off almost all my stuff over the next 2 years to prepare to retire and move to the Philippines. I am going on Vacation in May, so I will only be listing a few items until I get back, then if I have time I am going to work hard on selling stuff I do not need, then start on the stuff that I have no plans on taking with me.

Selling since November 2024
Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
