Vintage Peck Stow & Wilcox Tool Company Winged Dividers.  Measures 6" in length when closed and has a wingspan of 8" when fully opened.  Maker's mark "P. S. & W. Co." is visible on one leg inside of a fluted rectangle, with a "6" on the other.  The pivot point of the dividers has a brass accent on both sides.  See pictures for details.
