Type 4 produced 1953 to 1965.  Black frog. Full design (not recessed) LH brass depth adjusting nut.  Steel nickel plated yoke.  Plane is in excellent condition and doesn't appear to have been used.  Tote and knob have a like new finish.  Only apology is JES is lightly engraved on the right cheek.  Box condition as shown in the photos.
