JAPANESE HAND PLANE

** Blade Width: 2" ** Bevel angle set at 25 degrees ** Bevels have been hollow ground + sharpened with an 8000grit whetstone + stropped ** Backs have been lapped with a 8000 grit whetstone + stropped

** Plane body: 2” x 10” x 1” ** Sole has been initially flattened, then scraped so that it has three contact points (marked with pencil in picture).

I purchased this plane in vintage condition, and do not know anything about their history or manufacturer. However, I included pictures of whatever stampings that were visible.
