Japanese chisel (large) - 1 3/8"

Japanese woodworking chisel.

** Length: 10" ** Width: 1 3/8"

Bevel angle was set at 25 degrees

Bevel has been hollow ground + sharpened with an 8000 grit whetstone + stropped

Back has been lapped with a 8000 grit whetstone + stropped

I purchased this chisel used and do not know anything about their history or manufacturer. However, I inclueded pictures of the top of the chisels where the stampings are visible.
