Fulton Block Plane Fulton was Sears top of the line tools, think Stanley Bailey line, and where made by both Millers Falls and Sargent.
This plane still has a partial decal, which is harder to find, but it does not have the original iron, it has been replaced with the iron from a Stanley Defiance No 1247 block plane. The Handyman line used the same numbers as the Defiance line, but added the H before the numbers.
This would make a great user plane, if you use block planes, or set on the shelf to collect more dust, can't read the iron if it's covered in saw dust!
This comes from a collection of planes and other woodworking tools I bought. I was buying, restoring and reselling had woodworking tools
I also use and sorta collect woodworking hand tools, but my health has been getting worse and I figure that I need to thin down my tools to just what I actually use. That way it's easier on my wife when I am gone, she does not have so much stuff to deal with.

Selling since November 2024
Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
