Put it straight to use or restore it. When fully extended, the width is right at 4.25" when the screw starts to engage (See last pic). It features a set of nice auxiliary jaws to hold small round stock that won't easily clamp in the main jaws. The vise weighs approximately 10 pounds. -- Let me know if you have any questions.
