Early Sargent Type 1 (1902-1909) Sargent Low Angle Block Plane. I am pretty sure this is a 306 as it's just a hair over 6", the 307 was &' long. Needs restored, came out of my "i'll keep this" box that I am clearing out so someone else can actually restore, use or display as part of there collection..

Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
