Billings & Spencer 11" Adjustable "Monkey" Wrench may be "correct" for WWII tool kits

Vintage Billings & Spencer 11" Adjustable Wrench Hartford, CT This may, I say may be correct for WWII military tool kits. I do not think that this one is, but it was part of some tool kit due to the original red/black paint scheme. I am not sure exactly when this tool was produced, but it's most likely 30-40's as it came out of a tool box full of 1920-50's tools I bought several years ago.
Again, from my, "cool I'll keep this" boxes that I need to clear out.

Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
