This block plane is in excellent condition with approximately 90% or more of the original glossy japanning in place, especially on the body. The rear adjustment knob is the earlier nickeled cast iron version and the lever cap contains the patent date around the pin of the locking arm. The blade features the sweetheart heart logo. This would make an excellent user, but given its excellent condition, it would also make a really nice showpiece in your collection.
