Up for sale are 15 hand forged chisels and a few handles. All are hand forged. The Witherby is a paring, sash mortise chisel, 10" overall length and 1/8" wide blade, nice piece. Most of the rest have names on them , some don't . All look to be socket chisels. The EZ Cutter is 1 1/4" wide and the rest are 1" or less. Some of the other names are: D.R. Barton, Fulton, "Samson" by Union tool Co., Pexco, Diamond Edge, Chipaway. and one has a makers mark and says Japan on the side. Look at the pictures. With over 76 years of life experience and a passion for woodworking, I’ve spent decades collecting, restoring, and working with antique hand tools, mostly hand planes . I'm an Army Vet. (1967-1969) and married with 2 children. I'm also a avid gardener. I have a degree in Forestry from S.I.U. although I only worked in the industry for 6 weeks. I'm retired from the coal mines and also the Post Office. I live in Southern Illinois near Carbondale. I love to hunt and fish. I live on 30 with a 9 acre strip mine lake in front of the house. My work shop includes a Delta Unisaw , a Grizzley 17" band saw and a DeWalt 735 planer. I have many hand planes including a very nice Stanley #2 type 7
