#4 sized Lakeside Bench Plane By Stanley

Lakeside #4 sized Bench Plane sold by Montgomery Wards and made by Stanley. I believe this is a late 60's version, but I have not found a good way to date these yet. I have had a couple of these and they do make good planes after tuning up.
this is a nice plane, if I did not already have near 70 other planes I kept to "use" I would keep this one.
I have done nothing to this plane, it is how I got it. I bought out a large collection of planes recently and this is part of that bunch. Keep an eye on my listings as I will have about 50 planes that I will be listing over the next few weeks as well as some other items..

Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
