Details

This vase was designed by Björn Ramél at SEA Glas Bruk between 1970 and 1979 in Sweden. Measuring 8 inches high and 4.25 at the widest point. The vase has a slight texture to it almost like bark on a tree. The top edge has been polished. There are two places that are flea bites or where the glass flaked during buffing. The largest on is about 1mm x 1mm or 3/64th of an inch. Has several air bubbles in the glass.

    I started saving/collecting antiques as a child, as my adopted grandma was always giving me small trinkets. That turned in to me having several antique boths over the years when I lived on the gulf coast of Florida. Now getting near to retirement I have the time to explore my new home just east of Nashville and find all the goodies it has to offer.

    My other love is bead work, so maybe it is i just like bright shiny things.
