Details
An old sailing ship had to have a figurehead. They added grace to the bow of the ship and were believed by the crew to fend off bad spirits and to bring good fortune. The original Jenny Lind Figurehead was carved in Salem for a clipper ship named for the popular Swedish Nightingale. This replica is moulded in hard, fibrous material and hung by a simple bracket in back. She is 33" tall x 14" wide and projects 14" from the wall.

Meet Your Seller
Selling since March 2024
About a decade ago, my thrifting journey kicked off when my aunt passed away, leaving behind her house and all its contents to us. Tasked with selling off the items the family didn't want to keep, I found myself diving headfirst into the world of discovering new and intriguing things. I was truly astounded by the variety of items that people were interested in buying from us!
Now, my husband and I have turned this passion into a shared hobby, traveling far and wide to attend auctions, sift through thrift stores, explore estate sales, and scour garage sales. Each item we come across becomes an opportunity for me to delve into research and learn something new. For us, it's not just about making a sale, but about the joy of acquiring knowledge.
Interacting with customers is a highlight of our thrifting adventure. We take great care in packaging each item, sending it off with well wishes for a safe journey to its new home. Our hope is that whoever receives our packages will come to love the items as much as we do.
