The piece features the classic Doric Scroll (also known as Scroll & Gold) pattern, with raised scrolling motifs and touches of hand-applied gold trim still visible around the lid and rim. The finial is a distinctive looped scroll handle, both decorative and easy to grasp. At 7½ inches wide and 5 inches tall, this piece displays beautifully and can be used as intended for butter or cheese, or styled in a cottagecore kitchen, Victorian hutch, or holiday table display.
