ADAMS Pressed Glass Turquoise Thousand Eye Vintage Square Plate

The Adams glass company was founded in the early 19th century, and there are many plates like this available through online sites that claim to be antique, but reproductions were made in the 1960s by LIBBEY Glass. This is certainly a reproduction, but it is nonetheless absolutely beautiful, based on design that’s over 125 years old. The style is called “Thousand Eye” because of the many patterned dots on the underside. The corners appear to be folded, and there are no major imperfections, such as chips or cracks, but there are most likely light signs of wear. Please examine the photos carefully to confirm the condition of the plate. It measures 10” square, and 1.75” high, and will be shipped from a smoke free pet free home.
