Hey everyone! long time no see — currently in the middle of moving from Los Angeles to Charlotte, NC and getting great use out of my Shimoda Urban Explore camera bag, my Topo 45L Global Travel Bag and my Fyro T22. CT Group order going crazy lol. I'm skipping this one, price is a bit higher than the alchemy that I got last year.  There should some nice bags to come out it though.  If they had a red ultragrid they might have snared me.  Also I just got some expensive boots and a leather jacket lol.

weird. works on my end. It is their “Member's Mark Men's Denali Travel Performance Pant”. They wash great and are very comfortable. Even has a right hip zip pocket that holds my iphone 14 pro no problem. I am 6’ 230lb. I ordered 36x32 and they fit great.

Picked up a set of Diversions based on this! I have two pairs of the Nomatic Outset pants and love the materials, but I have thick calves and they look kind of funny on me 🤣

I picked up 2 pair of diversions. Thicker pant. Very nice. At $48, it’s a great deal.

Got my Western Rises in, I had the evolutions before and just got the diversions, I like the slightly more substantial diversion material more, the evolutions probably are better in the extreme heat, but the diversions are not so heavy either and have a nicer drape and feel.

Got my Trakke Banana in, lol its a little tight on the chest to hang where I'd want it. Might be relegated to waist pack for me.  I don't know if I'd sell it as I sorta want a Trakke in the collection.  More usable size than the Largo I had, but the largo wore better ergonomically for me (longer strap).  I only sold the largo cause its shape was really space inefficent and the MHP 3.5 and ignoble slings do more or less did the same job and had more usable interiors.

Same the only recent full price is I got a bannoch pro on that last batch. Ended up with to many bags by just that a great deal let me buy it.

I think I have only paid full price for about 5 bags, the rest I have gotten on sale or used or in trades.

I started doing this with costs as well, separated by packs, slings, satchels and pouches. Even added column for sales and overall difference. Both good and bad but give me an idea if I’ve gone overboard. Which I have over the last year.

Totally agree about its uniqueness and its opening. The weight is a serious issue for international travel, but for US-domestic flights it won’t be an issue. Plus I can imagine it will be pretty dope for a photographer such as yourself!

Still have it backed, but not sure if I’ll keep the pledge. It IS quite heavy for a carry on which seems like a deal breaker for a LOT of people judging from all the feedback so far.

But other than that, I do think they came up with something very unique and fixed a lot of my issues with traditional clam shell rollers. That opening solution is amazing.

I mean I need a spreadsheet to track my bags, I have over a hundred at this point (counting little things like pouches and packables). But I don't really need more than one carry on roller lol.  Though in my defense I never bought the 2nd one I won it from the Nomad Nation newsletter lol.  At least one is more euro compliant and the other is the bigger American domestic big carry on size.

I have three on the way from here this week alone. Never thought I’d develop a bag addiction of all things 🤣

5.11 should have made this a slick version and removed or reduced the molle. Showcase the waxed canvas, it would have looked a little more premium.

As much as I like waxed canvas (I have a MR Assault 21 in waxed), I already have an older 5.11 24 that I don't use much. My wallet is safe this time, I think.
