Embroiderer-screenprinter by day, bargain hunting thrifter by night.
In 2020 (0 stars, do not recommend), I was stuck in the madness of boredom, mindlessly scrolling the interweb, and stumbled upon Crazy Lamp Lady’s YT videos late one night. As a sign from the heavenly Bob Ross, it was indeed a “happy little accident”. Thus began my binge watching journey and love of vicarious treasure seeking. Just as luck would have it, the antique mall that I had a clothing booth in for a few years was being taken over by the owner’s wife and she demanded all booths stock at least 3/4 of space with antiques. Say less! My first venture was the local auction house and a cram course in “lots”. Which is, I suspect, short for “lotsofstuffwecan’tgetridofsoyou’retakingitwithyouwhetheryouwantitornot”. Perfect to fill my booth space! I have found some wonderful treasures to add to my personal collection which bring back childhood memories of late 1900’s summers with my grandparents: Mood Indigo, Colony Whitehall, Pyrex, and my favorite, Moon & Star. I’m very thankful to find “my people” within the Niknax community 🩵
