The green marble effect with gold trim on this compact is beautiful. There are three sections on the inside. There is the mirror, the cover for the loose powder and the place where the powder goes. It still has the sifter for the powder. Measures 3 3/4" Its in excellent condition. The mirror has no dents or scratches, there are some white scratches on the lid but there are very small and not noticeable. I only saw the scratches under a loupe! Signed Stratton Age 50's p544
