Vintage MCM Capodimonte Porcelain Vase, Soft Pink Florals & Gold Gilt, Marked

This vintage Capodimonte Porcelain Vase was crafted in the Naples area, Italy, during the mid-20th century. This exquisite piece is adorned with soft pink florals with green leaves and accented with intricate gold gilding, reflecting the craftsmanship and artistry of the era. Measuring at 4 inches in height and 3.5 inches in width at the base, this vase is a testament to the handcrafted art pottery style of the 1950s. It bears the authentic Capodimonte mark used from 1925-1967, assuring its originality and value as a collectible. This piece brings a touch of mid-century modern elegance and is a beautiful display item for any room. Based on a listing from Italy, I believe this piece was originally the base to a unique porcelain box that featured a ballerina on the lid. However, it works beautifully as a small vase.

The vase is in very good used condition. There are two flowers that having chipped petals (near each other). That part of the vase can be turned to the back, even though the chipping is not particularly noticeable - please see pictures 4-6. Otherwise, all of the intricate flowers and leaves are intact and have a beautiful color. The gold is in excellent condition.
