Vinyl plays with crackles, clicks, and a few pops (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); discoloration blob near top-right, tiny surface abrasions and discoloration spots on front. Inner-sleeve is original (generic white); seams partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Late 70s/early 80s pressing with dark blue label. (Not a cut-out.)

About The Record:

Christmas with Tammy by Tammy Wynette was released simultaneously with the first single, The Wonder's You Perform, which was not included on the album. The album, with back up vocals by The Jordanaires, peaked at No. 30 on the Billboard Best Bets for Christmas chart. The album's second single, One Happy Christmas, did not chart. A reviewer on allmusic.com says, "Tammy Wynette was at her commercial peak in 1970 when she released her Christmas disc. A typical Nashville album of the time (containing only ten tracks and running a mere 26 minutes), it featured country treatments of the usual sacred seasonal favorites -- O Little Town of Bethlehem, Away in a Manger -- and secular evergreens like Blue Christmas and White Christmas. Merry Christmas (We Must Be Having One) and One Happy Christmas were new songs in Wynette's standard country style. She and producer Billy Sherrill were playing it safe, which is not a bad thing in a Christmas album."
