Details
Vinyl plays nicely; a few light hairlines (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions on front; slight discoloration with darker discoloration spots on back and along bottom on front. Inner-sleeve is generic white. Spine has no text and shows mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along bottom-edge; heavier wear along top-edge and corners. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. 1975 pressing with yellow label. (Not a cut-out.)
Christmas with The Chipmunks, Vol. 2 by the Chipmunks was released in 1963, and contains 12 tracks: 11 traditional holiday songs and one original composition by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr. (Wonderful Day). The sped-up voices of Alvin, Simon, and Theodore were all performed by Bagdasarian with character names inspired by Liberty Records bosses: Al Bennett (Alvin), Si Warnoker (Simon), and sound engineer Ted Keep (Theodore). The concept even spawned a prime-time animated television program called The Alvin Show, which aired from October 14, 1961, through September 12, 1962, on CBS-TV. A glance at the tune-stack lists familiar favorites such as Deck the Halls, Hang Up Your Stockin', Jingle Bell Rock, All I Want for Christmas (Is My Two Front Teeth).
