Details
MONO pressing. Vinyl plays with occasional crackles (play-graded). Cover looks great; a few creases near edges; light-scuffing and surface impressions (front/back); tiny surface abrasions on front; more noticeable abrasions near top-left and slight discoloration with darker discoloration spots on back. Inner-sleeve is original (WB ads); one seam partially split. Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Top-edge has text and is easy-to-read. Opening is crisp with signs of light use and divots. Gray label. (Not a cut-out.)
My Son, the Folk Singer, by Allan Sherman, was recorded before a live audience and is filled with Jewish culture references and in-jokes. On the album sleeve, the title appears directly below the words "Allan Sherman's mother presents." The album was nominated for a Grammy Award for Album of the Year (other than classical) at the 5th Annual Grammy Awards.
