This one of a kind OOAK wood root basket is created by artisans who use fir tree roots to create uniquely shaped baskets that become natural works of art.

Each basket is hand carved which gives it a unique shape, size, and color and makes a fantastic home, cabin, or lodge style decoration. Root baskets are created from Chinese Fir tree stumps that have natural handles formed by the two roots growing together. So, the tree stump is turned upside down and the carved out, any excess roots are removed.

Root baskets make wonderful natural rustic style center pieces, fruit baskets, or decorations in any southwestern style home, bunkhouse, or cabin.
