I want to refresh my memory on how to move items from my bin over to auction and vice versa. Can’t find the doc that explains things like this. Can someone remind me where to find it please?
Here's the help page from District with all the sub categories of help like listing: https://help.district.net/selling/listing-items Hope that helps! :)

📣 Meet Your Maker 4/25 Let Your Freak Flag Fly!
⭐️The idea is to not have a specific theme. The idea is to show how your individually, uniqueness, interests and passions translates into your art. Basically, you do you. 💕
"Letting your freak flag fly" is an idiomatic expression that means to embrace and express your individuality or eccentricities...It encourages people to celebrate their unique traits, interests, and preferences....The phrase suggests a sense of freedom in being yourself and not conforming to what others might expect or think. It’s often associated with counterculture and self-expression, particularly in creative or alternative communities."

Kinda glad you didn’t get it posted last night; we were under a tornado warning and lost power. Hopefully it will be back on in a couple hours. 🩷❤️🩷

I do a variety of types of demos, ones that are flat on a table with small details to throwing pottery on a wheel. I use this adjustable ring light which works great. Easy to move around and adjust however you need it https://a.co/d/4tOHU8j
Thank you. I ordered the light ring. That was helpful.

Claudine, so you have the phone dedicated to filming and then you use the computer to read the chat, move items to stage, etc?
My computer is not apple so I can’t control the show on it ( I think that is also possible these days) but I still find it useful. I can watch my show on silent - read comments, check messages and descriptions.

See, I didn’t know to think about that. I want to start with demonstrating quilling which is a table detail work. Eventually I could show how to do stained glass mosaics in my shop so that would be bigger work.

Things that work for me: having everything laid out and numbered and close to hand. Having everything listed and already loaded. Having the phone on a stand (without ring light to avoid adverse reflections). Having light box nearby in case I decide to highlight that item individually. Good lighting in the room where I’m running the show. Making sure computer and phone are fully charged. Having computer nearby to look at messages and details on Niknax as it’s hard (impossible) to do so on phone which is filming. When running multiple choice stated name of successful buyers and items out loud - so you can always recheck replay of show. (Others suggest taking screenshots too). Anyway hope that helps and I’m sure everyone as other input too🥰

Thank you. This is a great start of a list for me. I can tell you have worked through the process for your shows.

What type of demos are you wanting to do? Small detailed work? Big projects?
Good question

I am wondering if there is someone that would be willing to talk with me about how you set up your space for demonstrations etc. Do you use just your phone? Ring light? I went thru the district class but I’m interested in knowing the practicalities of the actual demonstration. Learn from what you have already learned. It would be nice to have someone experienced to bounce ideas off of.
