Which countries do you support?

Referral Codes only work on Buy Now purchases, they are not compatible with Auctions or Offers

You can access your Referral Credit by clicking either “Get $5” or “Earn Rewards” on the top nav bar on web, or the “$” icon on the sidebar in the iOS app

You also get $5 in Site Credit when your referral credit is used.

Your Referral Code can be used at checkout by a new user to get $5 Off a $10 or more purchase if it is their 1st purchase using the District platform. District funds the discount, so you still get paid the full price of the item.

How does seller protection work?

As a multinational corporation, Stripe handles a vast amount of payment transactions, amounting to hundreds of billions of dollars each year. The company's clientele includes major corporations, and Stripe ensures the highest levels of compliance with regards to data security and privacy.

Stripe requires customers to provide their SSN and personal information for identity verification and regulatory compliance purposes. The company stores this information securely using industry-standard encryption methods and limits access to authorized personnel only.

Why does Stripe require my SSN or EIN?

Payouts are conducted through District Payments. District Payments is powered by Stripe, one of the world’s largest payment processors that works with trusted brands including Amazon, AirBnB, H&M and Uber

When a customer makes a purchase from you, your portion of the sale will show up in your wallet 48 hours after marked as delivered on tracked shipments or 10 business days after the sale. Once your funds are made available, you’ll be able to cash out. This usually takes 2-4 days to settle

How do payouts work?

If you choose to ship on your own, you can Upload Tracking in the Shipments Tab. We will notify the Buyer when their order is on the way

If you choose to purchase a Shipping Label directly through our integration with Shippo, the funds can come out of your Wallet Balance directly.

Sellers can find the Shipments Tab in the Seller Dashboard from the desktop. We partner with Shippo for discounted rates on USPS shipping

Sellers can choose to fulfill orders either directly through the platform on their own

The shipping you charge is passed through to you as part of your Seller Payout

Calculated: The system will calculate the shipping cost for the Buyer based on the Buyer zip code along with the dimensions & weight of the item

Flat Rate (Progressive:): Seller sets a fixed cost to ship the first item to a customer. Seller sets a different, lower shipping cost for each additional item purchased by the same customer

Flat Rate: Seller sets a fixed cost to ship the item

• Free Shipping: Seller incorporates cost into the price of the item

How does Shipping work?

You can use our CSV import tool to bulk add hundreds of items at a time by uploading an Excel spreadsheet.

Is there a way to import bulk listings? Can I move my listings over from another marketplace?

PayPal Fee: 3.49% of the total + $0.49 per order

Major Credit Cards (via Stripe): 2.9% of the total + $0.30 per order

Standard selling fees consist of a Marketplace Fee, 10% of the order subtotal. and a Payment Processing Fee for major credit cards (via Stripe) or PayPal

What are the selling fees?

Livestream Sales allow you to run Live Auctions. Live Auctions are a listing format ranging from 15 seconds to 1 minute where customers bid during the auction period. Live Auctions are soft closes—if a bid is placed in the last fifteen seconds, the auction timer is reset back to fifteen seconds.

Once you are approved to sell on the marketplace, reach out to your admins in your Seller Chat to discuss running a Livestream Sale.

How do Livestream Sales and Live Auctions work?

For all listing options, payments are processed immediately upon purchase.

Auctions can be run async on the platform or Live during a Livestream (ask in the Seller Chat for Livestream approval). Live Auctions can be set to be eligible for Pre-Bids as well as long as they are added to a Scheduled Livestream with a specified date to be run.

You can list items for Auction or Buy It Now (and choose whether or not to accept offers).

What are the different listing options?

What can I sell?

Once you’re approved as a seller, you’ll be notify by email and will have access to the Seller Dashboard. From the Seller Dashboard, click on “Payout Methods” and connect to District Payments. Upon successfully connecting to District Payments, the “List Item” button will appear the next time you visit the marketplace

Click the “Apply to Sell” button and answer a few short questions telling us about yourself. You’ll receive a confirmation email that your application was received.

How do I get started selling?

Take a video! Boardwalk supports adding Video to your listings. Video helps your listing sell as fast as possible, and also helps with any potential claims!
