Mark Kopplin was a teacher and coach for over three decades in the New Lisbon School District in New Lisbon, Wisconsin. An avid Wisconsin sports fan, Kopplin collected cards his entire life and always said they would one day pay for his daughter’s weddings and grandkids college. Mark passed away November 9, 2023. Mark was featured on the January 2024 episode of The Card Life after his wife Patti reached out to the show. “My husband was an avid collector of sports cards. He just passed away and I need help,” she wrote. Throughout 2024, The Card Life is helping Patti sell Mark’s collection, with the goal of helping fulfill his vision for what it would provide for his family. Profits from the sales will be provided to Patti. The Card Life will document the journey on their social media pages throughout the year.
