Hi. my name is Anne!

I am new to NikNax, but I am excited to share my love of all things collectible. My grandfather, as a young adult was a merchant sailor. He loved antiques and collectibles and brought a vast array of eclectic and avaunt-gard treasures to South Africa where he put his roots down. My mother continued the love for antiques and we would go antiquing and watch Antique roadshow. At 14 I bought my first Royal Doulton figurine which I have now given to my daughter. Thrifting, garage sales, estate sales and going to antique malls are my love and I can spend hours getting lost in these venues. My hope is that all of you will enjoy my buys both kitschy and older items and that you will want to partake in my joy.
