These leaves are not unfurling- been like this for months! Help me help it.
Inconsistent watering is the most likely cause when syngoniums don’t unfurl
Reported Message
Also a spritz of water from a mister will help it unfurl quickly

Looks to me like it could benefit from a little extra humidity…if you have a humidifier that would be great to set up near it and if you don’t a little tray filled with water with some stones to stop the plant sitting in it should work great….hope this helps 🥰

However, I usually don’t pollinate my haws. I find it super satisfying to pluck the flower stems out. The little click they make when they pull out cleanly gives me a dopamine hit.

There’s a super easy pollination method where you take the entire flower of another plant and strip the petals. That exposes the stamen and you jam they into the flower on another plant. Just leave it in there and in a few weeks a seed pod forms. As long as you have two separate plants flowering at the same time.

For haworthia I wait till the stem has enough strength to pull it clean out. Unless I’ve pollinated them, then I leave till the last pod forms.
Thank you and also thank you again for thinking I could pollinate anything lol if anything like that happens it will be from my dogs running by with zoomies

Serious question when do you pull out flowers? I have the stems that are super short coming out of the leaves of my haworthia. Should I wait til they are longer or get tweezers and pull them out?
